You & I

I am a thousand miles away,
But you keep staying by my side
You see my pretty face and smile
I feel your breath by the night
And this love can never die.
You keep the secrets,
I just fire them up
We are like winter with its fairytales
And summer with its love challenges
I look for you in other men,
You just search in your soul for other memories.
I never left,
You never believed that.
We both fall in a dream
That never is real,
You think of me in the day
I am all yours in the night
Chasing eachothers' lives
And fighting against from the light.

The Moment of Freedom...

Moment of Freedom
as the prisoner blinks in the sun

Like a mole
From his hole.
a child's 1st trip
away from home

just diggin the American Parties Pt 4

After Incubus we had one more day off so we decided to step by and say hello to the pals that we've met at the yesterday's event. They worked to a Pizzeria and they have recognized us at the concert because we were looking for a job around there but little afterwards we dropped the idea especially when that creepy amusement park were eager to give us even 15 hours per day only to satisfy our money demand. Outside the Pizzeria the view looked creapy as hell …giving the feeling that you will step into a place full of old bikers, drunkards, and rude people but in reality it was a very cozy place full of Beatles posters, incubus music or Mars Volta’s one and some sport clothes hung on the walls.(on one shirt we wrote OY BLYA) That day I remember I ordered beer and the waiter didn’t ask for our ID’s ,then drinking it I told him that he broke the law ‘cause I am not 21 yet and with a serious look asked if there were cops around there. He was greyer than ever. His name was Chase and till nowadays we laugh about this story . Once he received as a tip a” joint of MaryJ” telling me that it was the greatest tip that he has ever received. So after drinking those beers without our ID’s which felt like HEAVEN then Ryan( the guy that met us at incubus) invited us to go for a hiking and see the great waterfalls of Ogden. Woke up early, took my sport shoes and ready to dig Utah’s mountains. We were 4, me ,my crazy moldavian friend Mirela, Ryan and his friend. That buddy was from UK but was living in USA for about 7 years or more so the UK accent was not rigid but everytime when he asked for the water..he would say ‘OTER” . It was really fun even if it was a horrible heat outside, we couldn’t manage to find those bloody waterfalls and i fell pretty bad on some rocks. -We were talking, singing the Kooks and drinking lots of “OTER” . The view was speachless, the clouds were pink, silence was massive and everything felt dead and alive at the same time, only the dust was beginning to get into my throat. After the hiking they invited to a party. I was like PARTYYYYY…American party??! Right away in my head were popping the sequences from all American teen movies that were having PAAARTIes.Garage, alcohol and COPS! In the evening Ryan picked us up because he lived 15 minutes away from our campus and when I arrived I remember that we were in a garage full of beers and the guys were focused on a game called “beer pong”. We were on the floor drinking some real Wyoming beer, listening to their demo’s ,talking about Salvador Dali’s paintings and in the end we were all enjoying the night by watching the Pink Floyd’s concert on DVD’s. The house and the atmosphere was pretty much like the 60’s, in the basement they were singing on different instruments-so the music was everywhere, the weed was everywhere and the love was flying all above.

Love with a reason or Hate with no reasons...

A flight in the air,
A song in my ears
A question on the desk
An Answer to ur death
I shop-u follow
I luv-you fuck it
I take tickets-you grab popcorn
I watch the kisses-you blow the whispers
Another Saturday is gone
Another week-end will be waited

I work-you study
I rest-you skip classes
I am away from home-you never had one
A traffic light, a song and a roar,
Another day is gone
And it is time to soar

I want to stop the time
But your are on the other side,
I dream –you work
I study-you party
I feel –you cry
You die-I suffer.
Summer is ours
Autumn is yours
And winter is neithers
It buried our love with that snow

Another spring is gone
Another tear had fallen
Another Love had disappeared
And other emotions to appear
You drive- I sleep
I drive and ruin your car
I scream-you never scream
You curse-I scream again
Another day has gone,
Another hope will be exploited
And by the night another dream will get some sleep

You wait-I run
I looked back and you’re gone
I cheat-you laugh
You marry- I die
I use-you Love
And when I love you’re out of sight .

Incubus "Hats off and applause to Rogues and Evolution!"

Incubus-favorite band and again started with a sticker, this time with a smarter thought and the video "drive" appeared to me definitely an original shit and the singer looked hot. I remember that I have been to a play and discussing with the girls that Brandon is the most typical stereotype guy that almost every girl will want to assess.

This talk was exact 3 months before the actual attendance to the concert. Well enough about the stickers and my childish dreams. The concert took part in Salt Lake City at the USANA amphitheatre. There’s a whole different story about how I got the tickets. Working to a stupid and boring ride and talking about the bands with my supervisor Ian and right away he told me that he heard on the radio-station that in the week-ends it gives some tickets with lower prices. Deal and done, telling him to cover my ass for the next day, staying in line and waiting for that stupid shop-assistant, buying 3 tickets ( finally GOT TICKETS! Hurray! For only 12 bugs. Before going to the concert, me and my friend were tremendously excited and we expected that day more than ever! Finally… we went to Lagoon Park where the supervisor worked and she could manage to give us a ride up there! We were on road for 3 bloody hours! I was all sweaty because for some seconds I was entering in panic and frightened that I will miss it. Well we found the place, got the seats…seats-SHIT!! They were kinda far from the stage. When was to Fall Out Boy’s concert I was in the front and now here I am just way too FAAAR. Thinking and thinking and not giving a damn about the cups , jumping 3 fences and finally we were in the front. At the last fence the cup saw me and then the guys over there (don’t even know them) they just screamed to him that I am with them and basically saving us. There’s a saying- "In Utah never rains" but for this open-air concert it was a terrible storm and just before incubus could hit the stage, the rain just stopped and above the sky appeared a beautiful rainbow and here it is-SHOWTIME. They opened the show with the song "A kiss to Send us OFF". At the first guitar notes I almost faded and almost began to cry thinking-THIS IS IT! The Damn thing that I almost waited for all my half rebel childhood, following some songs from the albums “ A crow left of the Murder” and “Morning View including my favorite songs “Megalomaniac”,“Drive” 11. a.m etc etc Most of the songs were focused on their last album “Light grenades” and the most marvelous performance was Punch-Drunk, Anna-Molly and Love Hurts. “Tonight we drink to youth and holding fast to truth” …and the last song which gave more mature and less punky fever was Aqueous Transmission. It was a beautiful performance that lasted for about 9 minutes making ourselves lost in a trip as from the magic mushrooms. If our last experience with the American rock music was more punk and jumping around, incubus was more mature getting myself basically stoned to each lyric and voice performed by Brandon…Also this concert was just the beginning of true and beautiful friendships with some great American people who received us and were eager to show us the crazy part of Utah and hardcore parties.

"Back to USSR" trend in USA

“Back to USSR”- (The Beatles)

USSR a country that promoted equal rights, basic shelter and standard of living for every citizen and if someone would have the nerve to have a little bit more than the others than he would be probably shot and terminated as the “nation’s enemy”. What can I say?! Not different from the “other” democratic countries where the only comparison is that democracies possess considerably greater flexibility through manipulation of the popular will. Anyways politics is a whore that’s why I don’t like to discuss about Paris Hilton and Politics either. I will present my point of view on music, entertainment and whatsoever. Last summer in USA being at Fall Out Boy’s concert I have realized that it’s in complete vogue the “USSR trend” because during the whole show while Pete Wentz kept jumping around, in the back were set up huge screens all related with USSR theme like its symbol, the quotes. ..Ya gheroy, Kolhoz, SOvhoz…It was so authentic that for some minutes I almost forgot that I am in other country besides home. Maybe Americans want to socialize themselves by killing that damn invisible hand or just trying to be original through things that for themselves are mystery. Actually that was just the beginning because soon afterwards we found an American indie band “ Someone still loves you Boris Yeltzin”…hmm interesting for …the bottle of vodka or for the politics. Other band who tried hard to differentiate was our friends’ band “ The Auto-Pirates “who usually played at the beginning of their show something in Bulgarian but the funny thing is that they thought they actually were playing in Russian until I brought my Russian friend for the final verdict. Still like I was sayin it doesn’t matter what you sing as long as you sing completely in other language and it sounds…COOL and NEW. The clothes that may look like pioneer or the accent of an immigrant from the East are popular as never. I’ve realized that USA is so fulfilled with the music industry because nowadays you need to bring on the table your own sound, etiquette in order not to sound like the” others”. This tip of success are still using Gogol Bordello whom the success is “strashno” increasing.

Stickers or just diggin the American Dream- Pt 1

My life is like a wall, a wonder wall full of stickers and tags from which arrive the great ideas and things. It’s started with a sticker and ended when my mom shouted why I am not going to USA like everybody else! I hated the phrase “everybody else” it sounded so…like joining to a herd of cows. To avoid this idea I chose the most bizarre and weirdest location ever: UTAH!

Utah-the holy land of Mormons (78-80% of the population) and here the alcohol drinks consist not more than 3,4 grades which means that you need to drink at least 5 cans of beer, you pee a lot and still not having any state of anxiety or insobriety. There are even dozen of websites warning people not to go to UTAH and I will post some of the craziest quotes that I most admired and laughed about. “ Go there only if you are a kind of person that goes out and buys every new album they hear on the radio, and stands in line to see the Titanic. “The schools here suck. I went to Woods Cross High-School. The teachers were Nazis, the classes sucked and our principal was an asshole that made our school bankrupt. Every cut the school had was dumped into our sports team. “148,118 people live in Utah and regret it honestly.” After these facts and hilarious posts I raised lots of questions and doubts until my friend told me with a low tone but still very convincing that where’s hierarchy, strict rules there are rebellious and lots of PUNKS and until he finished his speech I realized that there’s no other place to see than UTAH. So here we go me and my 2 friends are in the airplane on the way to UTAH and the entire trip seemed nice and smooth though I hate planes and the word “turbulence”. Arriving in the night in Utah and more precisely in Ogden(some km away from Salt lake City) we couldn’t feel any joy or eager to dig this American dream. My room felt hunted and the 2-metre beds looked scary and not at all nice. It was most like “What the fuck?! “ Next morning I woke up from the noise of the army planes above our building and soon afterwards I realized that in the huge campus were only us and a couple of Bulgarians who were workaholics so we didn’t have any chance to talk to them. That day was like the continuity of the shock, cultural shock or more like where the fuck is everybody else?! Because it seemed so creepy that I ran in complete panic to find any internet place in order to get info about the location I was in ,and doing my research I saw an e-mail from a good friend of mine writing me with joy of how amazing was Florida: fun , sunny times and just living in a great hotel room. Well, at that time she posted me the basic things that I missed in this unknown land. After some weeks our 3-floors campus was easily fulfilled with people all around the Globe, mostly from Eastern Europe. Parties were too many and the craziness was everywhere. Columbians were popular with the tequila and salsa thing, their salsa parties were absolutely mad because they could dance till 9 a.m, Bulgarians with their chalga music which they also called-Pop folk music ,simply saying Romanian MANELE!, Moldavians with their Russian curses and the wine, Czech …I loved the Czech! Besides that they were all cute and hotties they even brought tons of good beer Budweiser. Russians…Russians were passive except for some Russian girls in rest it was something like DOM-2 but only spicier and noisier. Besides of the everyday warnings from the cops and the dorms we were finally ALIVE, our campus felt like home even if our 2-metre beds still looked spooky and hard to climb.

Honda Civic Tour 2007- the greenest Tour in SLC Pt. -3

June, 25- We were getting ready and totally excited to attend the craziest event that we had been to- The Fall Out Boy’s concert in Salt lake City! We didn’t have a ride so the first thing in the morning was grabbing the maps and all the bus schedules that we could find in the hall of our dorms. So here we were going to the E-centre. We got there after 3 hours and a half and ran to the nearest restaurant to take a snack. We ate quite a lot and were ready to jump for the whole 3-4 hours. The show was expected to start around 6 p.m and started at almost exactly at that time. I didn’t know that but the Honda Civic Tour was an event that participated other bands than Fall Out Boy making some shows for about 45-50 min. The first band that opened the show was Cobra starship. The audience was still few and I was freaking out because “Cobra starship” is one of the new bands that were singing the song “Snakes on the plane” which I really liked it. I was out the hook, I was practically the only girl who jumped so high and everyone thought whether I am a fan of theirs or whether we are for real high. Cobra starship-Rock with a little extra bite! The band had also a girl and her voice was sweet and melodic. Now we were excited with my friend to know what other superstars will also join here. The next band was Paul Wall…I don’t even know this dude but the song was very familiar to me-something with “grilzz” and he even made a business by selling the grilzz. So it’s a hip-hop person and right away our pure, positive atmosphere was invaded by a bunch of rappers who raised all the hands up like from an Eminem’s video. The atmosphere got hotter when a kid near us showed to the singer the sign “F*** U” and the singer wanted to invite him on stage but the security got mad and kicked him outside.
Anyways, Paul Wall ended so as the hip hop youngsters cleared off the place. Next band was The Academy is…, so until they arranged their instruments it was shown on the huge-mega screens the Gym Class Heroes’ videos. It was such an amazing feeling. So here we go The Academy is…or simply saying High School Never Ends or maybe we are too cool for the school.

It was considered a good band from Chicago. They sounded like All the American Rejects but a little bit rocky and funkier. While they sang some of the girls never stopped screaming the name of the band, lots of posters hanging around so you could feel the madness. After the show we even met them at the Danny's and they seemed really nice guys. The real madness actually started when I saw on stage Travis Barker. He was totally cute, handsome and playing the drums (with no shirt on :) Cool hysteria got into my bones that made me feel like I was a punker of 16 years old. Mark and Travis(ex blink-182) now were called +44.At that moment I didn’t care much about Fall Out Boy, I just wished that these guys never ended their performance on the stage which was completely sick . And the last but not the least was the Fall Out Boy. Pete Wentz appeared from the screen and here we go…Dance Dance, and a surprise cover of a Michael Jackson’s song!
